From the moment I accepted Christ Jesus, it didn’t take long for me to begin singing unto the Lord. My first experience with the holy spirit being present was back in the mid~ 90’s at a church service in the Bronx in NYC. I will never forget the “Church of the Revelation”, and yes, while I attended that church, the Lord did reveal. I remember one visit when the Holy spirit filled the room; I mean I was in awe; I have not stopped singing since. Yet, something else began to happen as the years went on and I walked by faith, I began to worship! The Lord matured me unto a spiritual melody that has continued to carry over many years and it is all in His name……

My Shout unto the Lord!

The word of God declares that many victories have been won by the worship and lifting of the hands in surrender (Exodus 15:20-27; Exodus 17). There may be times we may feel too much and are unable to even lift our hands at all, (Luke 18:13), but our shout shakes heaven and earth, (1 Corinthians 3).

I pray and thank God that we long to elevate our voices, and by His guidance we will no longer desire to use our voice to speak death, but to speak life. For His desire is that we live in Christ Jesus!  (Philippians 4:8).

Let us rejoice and give God glory that in His presence we can lift our hands until the fighting is done (Exodus 17), while we declare our redeemer lives! We can shout until all our enemies scatter in all directions, (Deuteronomy 28:7) and sing praise to the one who is parting our red seas and delivering us from our Egypt’s! We can even declare that peace will be ushered in for forty years, (Judges 3:9-11), for we know that “the Lord is our mighty defender, perfect and just in all his ways; Our God is faithful and true; he does what is right and fair. (Deuteronomy 32:4)

Oh Yes, God is faithful, let your shout be bold and faithful too! (Hebrews 4:16)
